MGFF is a Committee comprising a small volunteer group of
Middlesex Freemasons who are passionate about raising money
for good causes. The events they organize are open to all.
The team, which has its origins in the late 1980s and now
led by Committee Chairman Peter Hyde, has grown the Committee’s
activities from just one a year, the Grand Family Fete, to
the four currently organized at different locations within
the Province of Middlesex.
The success of the MGFF is due in no small part to the unstinting
support of the Middlesex Provincial Stewards who assist our
group of volunteers on the day of the events, fulfilling a
number of roles, principally engaging with the public ensuring
everyone receives a warm welcome and is able to make the most
of their day.
Whilst the MGFF’s activities span the year, with a boxing
evening and dinner and dance in the Spring and four days of
Winter Wonderland events at Harrow and Twickenham in November
and December, the Jewel in the Crown remains the Grand Family
Fete, held at the Royal Masonic School for Girls at Rickmansworth
in the summer.
